The good ambience. The bus stop was 15 minutes’ walk away. Pankow district definitely deserves exploring. The hotel’s location was very close to Blauer Stern, Konrad-Zuse-Schule also was easily accessible.

It is located in a calm, bit out of the way area of Berlin (10-15 minutes walk from S-station, but there are also busses). At the back is a kind of park, so absolutely quiet.
The hotel uses cards with magnetic strips as room-keys, after 21 h it is also necessary to open the front door with this, there is nobody at the reception. My card was programmed wrongly, I was staying 2 days, the 2nd day I could not get in at night and had to call and wait for a security guard to come.

Internal plants and greenery with added bird noises make for a nice change in the mornings. The location is nicely set in suburban Berlin amist a community garden area. You would never know you were 20 mins from Friedrickstrasse station.

Short but all as expected. Will use the hotel again.
